It’s 4.49 pm on an April, Saturday. I hear the shrill shrieking cry again and peep out into the corridor of the covid-19 ward looking for the little girl, a little less than a year old who’s come to bond with her mom.
I guess it’s her tall handsome dad who tied her pony up and dolls her for this outing. The shrieking stops almost instantaneously as she meets her mom’s eye. Their mask and all, her mom carries her across the long corridor to the common ward of four to bond their twosome. Their job done, she’s back to her dad.
